ReCreate Center is a community-focused creative reuse art center dedicated to creativity, sustainability, inclusion, and community outreach. We provide affordable art workshops, camps, sewing and crochet classes, and hands-on creative experiences for children, families, homeschoolers, and individuals of all abilities. Our mission is to make art accessible to everyone while reducing waste. We collect donated art supplies and give them a second life through classes, workshops, community outreach, and redistribution. Through our heART Bus, we bring creativity directly into the community by distributing free art supplies, providing free art projects, and creating opportunities for children and families who may not otherwise have access to creative resources. Located in Downtown Stuart, ReCreate Center is more than an art studio — we’re bringing the love of art into the community, one heart at a time.
About the Founder
Hi, I’m Krinda-Holly, founder of ReCreate Center.
Creativity has always been part of who I am. My mom loves telling the story that once I discovered paper and pencils, they went everywhere with me. I was constantly doodling, drawing, imagining, and creating — and that love for creativity never left me.
Today, my passion is creating a welcoming place where art, community, sustainability, and inclusion come together. I believe everyone deserves access to creativity — children, families, homeschoolers, individuals with special needs, and anyone simply looking for a place to create, learn, and belong.
What started as a dream to combine art with community impact has grown into ReCreate Center, a creative reuse art center offering sewing, crochet, camps, workshops, and hands-on creative experiences. We also collect donated art supplies and give them a second life through our programs, community outreach, and redistribution.
My passion for reuse and community goes beyond the studio. I also created BUY NOTHING PORT ST. LUCIE, a community that has grown to more than 4,000 members sharing and receiving usable items rather than allowing them to go to waste.
Through ReCreate Center and our heART Bus, we’re taking that mission even further — bringing free art supplies, creative projects, and opportunities directly into the community.
My goal is simple: to create a safe, inspiring place where people can discover their creativity, build confidence, learn new skills, and feel connected through art.
Because sometimes all it takes is a piece of paper, a pencil, and someone giving you the opportunity to create. ❤️
